Welcome!
We deserve to be the best version of ourselves and sometimes this requires huge milestones, other times just a little guidance. However, choosing to start therapy can be a little scary especially if you are the first person in your family to go to therapy.
Together we can guide each other through this healing journey to help you start healing from your life experiences and emotional wounds to design the life you have always wanted.
Education
For nearly 5 years of my life I have been committed to serving communities in the field of social work, physical health, and mental health. I understand how childhood trauma and life experiences can shape your overall well being.
I received my Bachelor’s in Social Work in 2019 from Texas Southern University and my Master’s in Social Work in 2020 from Baylor University. I am a Bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker in Texas, currently working under the professional and clinical supervision of Dayna Gurley, LCSW-S, CCTS, ACM. I’m a certified clinical trauma specialist and trained in somatic and body-based self-regulation. I have worked in various settings in my social work career but have spent most of this time working with trauma survivors, adolescents, children, families, first responders, the unhoused community, victims of crimes, and I have an innovative perspective working with different populations.

My Approach
I lead sessions with empathy and empowerment to provide a safe and inclusive space for each individual. I have a holistic approach to therapy by creating a trauma-informed care environment and collaborative environment for individuals wanting to better themselves. I aim to incorporate somatic exercise, practical coping skills to help you understand the role of the mind in body connection, and honor cultural practices used by each client. I believe in the importance of physical health to your body and help you understand your body better. I understand each client is unique and I try utilizing different coping tools such as journaling, sensory toys, memes, music, art, laughter, physical movement (dance, yoga etc.), somatic exercises, grounding techniques, gratitude practices, prayer/spirituality, and various cultural practices
