Andrea D. Watson, LMSW

Welcome!

Hello and welcome! My name is Andrea D. Watson and I am a strength based, client-centered therapist, dedicated to strengthening children and families by providing a supportive space for reflection and positive communication. My goal is to provide an environment where you can feel heard and supported in a respectful and affirming manner. Life gets so hectic that often simple things, such as listening and having compassion for each other, become lost in the busyness of life. I believe that effective communication and taking the time to really connect with others is the way to build resilience in our families and strengthen our communities.

I am a mother of two and a “GiGi” to an adorable grandson.

Education & Experience

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Smith College (1994) and a Master of Social Work from Saint Louis University (2009), where I had a concentration in working with Children and Families, Behavioral Health, and School Social Work. I have experience in working with children and teens, ages 3-18, in schools and community menta health settings.
